So the car is basically golden but been having an issue with the oil drain for the turbo. Had a bung welded on the drain port hole I drilled, the 2.4 gen 3 doesn't have a pre drilled hole but the pad was there. Anyway had a buddy weld a bung but it became slightly restricted when welding, of course did not get a weld on bung. Hose clamps cannot keep oil from leaking and getting pooled up under the oil pan and leaking onto the subframe and intercooler while driving. Can I lower the oil pan with just loosening the subframe enough or does it have to completely come off?
Thinking a -10 such as this above the baffle in the pan as high as I can go. Or having a -10 just welded on in place of the previously welded on bung after I go at the jb weld and welded aluminum with a cut off wheel.
