i just got in the main uber hard to obtain component to start rolling out in the next big project.
i picked up a 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP (<----- did you see the GXP? There were only 781 made!) Mine came with 80k on the ticker (i also own a Satum Sky which honestly looks better). . .But this is what i am doing to the "Sol":
here are some of the other "donor" parts but i also have all the molds. . . .
Yes, I see the fender slight differences. . .I have many other more enclosed fenders and molds for those too- just not current photos of the other parts.
Basically. I will be taking the whole "subframe" off the Sol and stretching it out so the front wheels are basically one more wheel diameter forward. I will be keeping the cabin and soft top. The re-skinning the doors and rear will mostly be a rear end from one of my cobras modified to suit.
It is a LOT of work (understatement) but if you've seen the Stalker or other builds you should know I only turn out top notch work hence why fall 2026 is optimistic.
