Off-Topic Tuesday 10/7/25 - Favorite creators to watch?

Who do you watch/listen to the most online? Car related or not, tell us your favorite content creators and which platform they're on so that we can go check them out.

I usually have a tiny window of Youtube up on my computer as I work throughout the day, listening more than watching. I follow Rob Dahm and Taylor Ray pretty closely, and watch at least most of the content from Westen Champlin, Cleetus McFarland, KSR Performance, BoostedBoiz, Adam LZ, Angel Motorsports, CJ Race Cars, Wesley Kagan, Vin_ tra, and That Dude in Blue.

Rob Dahm, Taylor Ray, CJ Race Cars, and Wesley Kagan all have legit builds that I've loved following.

As for folks with less regular updates where I still watch everything, add in Keckster and WOT Club from the Goblin world.

On top of all of that, I usually find the time to watch/listen to all the IMSA racing over the course of the season before attending the season finale in person at Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.

Does the youtube free movies channel count?

I think Veritasium is about the only "creator" i can stand consistently watching. Whenever Joe Rogan isn't interrupting his guests sometimes there's some interesting ones, but I've never made it through a full episode just clips. I remember I used to love the CarsAndCameras youtube channel but something about their most recent stuff doesn't really interest me anymore.

I used to watch Goonzquad regularly, but they've become quite... elaborate lately from the backyard boys they once were. Rauq mentioned Rob Dahm, pretty good usually, his rotary builds are top notch and the technical data is great. Im a nerd for video games, so anyone playing Silksong with good content that helps me along my game is good for me and Ryukahr for Nintendo/Retro game content.

Besides the obvious car content channels like Cleetus, Boostedboyz etc. I watch a lot of engineering and science stuff like Veritasium, Steve Mould, Practical engineering, Stuff made here and Smarter every day. I also enjoy scambaiter videos like Pleasant Green, Kitboga and Scammer Payback. If I just want something to listen to while I'm doing something else I put on Lehto's Law, it's eye opening what is going on out there and I don't have to focus on the screen to get the message. He's a car guy too so always covers car related stories that come up.

I really enjoy watching the DF Kit Car build videos, especially the new ones! That YouTube creator, Adam, really knows his stuff. And that narrator’s voice? Smooth, calm, and oddly familiar… almost like I’ve heard it somewhere before.

Honestly can't f--- stand any online video content or "influencers". I hate youtube and toktok. There are so many people out there giving **** advice just to get views. Just write it out in a paragraph or 29 and include a picture when needed so I can read it and not dick around with pausing, rewinding, fast forwarding, or waiting for fucking ads to finish. Perhaps I'm wierd, or its a just genX thing. I also fly helicopters for a living. The maintenance and flight manuals are all written, not videos. When something officially changes in regard to how I am supposed to do my job, whether it be a directive from the FAA, military, or manufacturer, its in the form of a written document, not a stupid youtube video that starts with an ad that I have to cancel first, just to see the content.

I do listen to a few Spotify stock trading podcasts every day while I go running

These days it just seems all about views, opinion and ad revenue, not skillset.... Rant over.

LOL, You Tube isn't what it use to be that's for sure. Your right about the FAA and stuff for sure.
