V1 Photos of Back of Button Panel

Does anyone have photos of the back(s) of the button panel? I have the early model diagram but just want to see the back of the panels.

I'm not entirely sure. My button kit came with no instructions. Basically all I'm going on is the picture provided in another post.

I do have 16 connectors and 8 input wires. Just not sure how this all goes together.

After looking at it more I think this is the case for most of it. I do still have three wires left to connect. I know where one of them goes, green to green but have the following two pink ones left
1. Pink by itself -- Goes to pink on the button harness?
2. Pink looped/knotted with the Green --Yellow on the button harness?

I could still use a photo of the back of both sides of the button panel, too. I think I have the left side figured out. I just do not understand where the following come from:
Cruise (Arming) --> Grey?
Res / + -->No idea?
Set / - --> Also, no idea....
ACC --I think this is the two orange lines?

Info on the early model button panel wiring here.
I saw that before. Unfortunately, those mean nothing to me. Those pictures to someone not good or even remotely ok with wiring are just lines on a page. For this adventure, I believe I'm going to need very detailed and explicit instructions. I'm not good at 'winging it' with electrical. I do not understand the resistors in parallels or series. How did those get brought in?

Did you look at the early model wiring sheet in the link that Ross posted?
I did, that's how I've gotten this far. That sheet is a bit vague on things, however. It lists two pink wires but does not distinguish between the two. One is wrapped up with a green wire and the other it by itself. So, I still have the same two questions for connecting the wiring kit harness to my main harness:
1. Pink by itself -- Goes to pink on the button harness?
2. Pink looped/knotted with the Green --Yellow on the button harness?

For connecting the buttons I think I understand the left side, it's just plugging in the right color to the item listed on the sheet. It doesn't explicitly call out the following things, for the left hand side. Just seeing the hook ups would be fantastic. Or just spelling out what wires go to what buttons would have been phenomenal on the instructions sheet.
Cruise (Arming) --> Grey maybe?
Res / + -->No idea?
Set / - --> Also, no idea....
ACC --I think this is the two orange lines?
If (that's a big if....) I have the Cruise and ACC right, then that only leaves two black and two pink lines left......

Left Hand side:
Hazard --> Just hook up the two white wires?
Return --> Just hook up the two green wires to the button?
Info --> Two yellow wires?
Horn --> Two tan (brown) wires?

Note: the pictures in the linked posts show different button configurations. I guess photos won't do it. I'd really just need to know what colors go to what button. The button names are the same, the order or side varies.

I don’t know what DF is doing internally to their harness so I can’t answer your questions. All I can offer is to bring the harness adapter to me and I can figure it out. If you look on the wiring diagram there are different resistors within the harness that correspond to the different cruise buttons. I would think the pink and green together are for info return and the other is for cruise.

Hopefully some one that has done this will add some information. I have it soldered in place, other than the green and two pink wires. I'd either have to cut it back out or bring the whole Goblin harness up.

If anyone has this information I could still use it. Trying to wrap up the dash buttons soon.

I could use exactly this except for the Early Model. Or is the schematic the same?
If this is what I need (looks like it might be!) all I need to sort is the the two pink wires:
Body Harness to Button Harness
1. Pink by itself -- Goes to pink on the button harness?
2. Pink looped/knotted with the Green --Yellow on the button harness?

Yes
1. pink wire you tied goes to the yellow on the button panel
2. individual pink goes to the pink on the button panel

post number 15 in the previous link I posted is the wiring you want to go off of.

the difference between the late and early panels is the yellow wire to the button panel since the late model shares info and return on one button compared to early model which are separate.

Thanks, I'll give this a shot.

What does the orange "Optional" do? where does it attach later on? I'm guessing it does something to turn on/off something you want on a switch, but where does is that? Is it the purple fog light wire from before?

G
The Optional "Accessory" is a little bit of a misleading term. That is from the fog light circuit, which will cut off when the high beams are turned on and will have to be turned back on every time the car is shut off. Really, I'm not sure that it is good for much of anything other than fog lights.
