V1 Radiator fan won’t come on by itself

So I have the radiator fan all wired up and it won’t come on by itself if I use my Snapon scanner I can control the fan relay and make it work but not by itself cluster was reading 205F so I turned it off

The fan on my LSJ was set way too high from GM. I reprogrammed it with HP Tuners.

How much is HP tuners I haven’t used it before, what all can you do with it?

Your radiator fan does not come on until 217 degrees.

I would check if HP Tuners supports your ECU, before you spend money on it.

I think it would be high on older engine but today's engines seem to be okay with higher temps.
Unless you sit in traffic for a while you will not likely ever have the fan turn on.
You definitely need to make sure it comes on though.

I waited till it hit 217 and it immediately turned on and cooled it down. I was use to 180-190 so when it went past 200 I was worried but all is good
