I've never thought of using a rivnut in that application. Great idea.

The only reason this one isn’t going in the trash is because I’m considering putting it on my lawnmower. All aluminum from Amazon. I think it was like 200 bucks. Looks fine but the upper foil wiggles in the wind like crazy. I just ordered an ICBeamer on Amazon. Mounting holes are about 6 inches off but I’ll just fab a plate to adapt.

That second element does move around a bit. At least one support, maybe two, added would get rid of the flopping around.
Some expensive CF dual element wings have supports like these.

Has anybody tried Racebred yet? They have an aluminum wing in a variety of widths, 68" is $735.00 including endplates. You specify bracket spacing when ordering. They claim to have them in stock with shipping 1-2 weeks from order for raw aluminum, or 3-4 weeks for powder coating.

Yes, agreed regarding adjustability - that's what got me interested in it. It's also very clean looking, and there's a decent downforce, flow, and drag analysis in the images on the page.

It's gotta be at least the same track width as your rear tires otherwise it looks weird.

Made a prototype F1 inspired 2nd element support bracked and tested. Looks to have taken care of that element flopping around. Video comparison to come.

It needs a long puller/pusher lever to activate the DRS from the cabin!

There's a video of before and after tracking a Goblin with a wing on/off. The time was improved with the wing. Has anyone tested race times?

Just my $.02. Why pay HUNDREDS of dollars for a carbon fiber wing on a, let's face it, economy hot car.??. I payed about $60 for an aluminum 2 blade one from ebay, and I think it looks great. I like my wing logic wings, also like the price vs. some of the competitors. Mike is fast to answer and great to work with as well.
Cut a 60" down to 48" for the front and custom-made second element. 70" for the rear wing. 15x10 with 275s coming this week to fill the gap back there on the width of the tires.

This is a great option, happy to hear the positive feedback. Was he up for welding the mounting brackets too or did you have that done locally?
