Starting the journey, need advice

I enjoy the twisty roads alot too. I also have a supercharged 4-cylinder car(weekend toy) and a turbocharged 4-cylinder car(daily). I prefer how the power is delivered with the supercharger. Instant power whenever you need it. In my turbo daily I have to get into the throttle earlier to account for the turbo to spool up again.

The OEM turbocharger and supercharger setups will bolt right onto the 2.2L and generally make a smidge more power because of the 2.2L slightly higher compression ratio and larger displacement. My Goblin is getting a built 2.2L with a big supercharger.

That’s truth right there. Wife needs some items from grocery store, “ sure sweetie I will be right back” Love taking the car for a quick errand. That’s really good advice because I would be doing the same on sunny days
That’s like the commercial the guy gets a new car and friend text him so he drives over in person to answer the text. LOL

Also thanks for the advice on a NA goblin.
would love to hear opinion of someone who built a NA goblin
Mine is currently an NA. It's fast enough for spirited drives down curvy country roads and around town. Even with an NA, you'll beat most other cars off the line, not that I race much...

I'm swapping my engine out for a a better built, supercharged engine but that has as much to do with me learning more about building engines as it does with wanting better acceleration.
