V1 Swapping Trans Internals

So my new LSD F35 grinds when going into second gear, the synchro is most likely done. I do still have my old F35 non-LSD that had no issues here. I've watched the videos posted on YouTube about taking apart the transmission and it doesn't seem that hard. It could be that this guy (Stephen Boykin) has done them a bunch and makes it look easy.

So I'll ask it here. What are the difficulties in swapping out gear sets in the F35?

I tried to pull the LSD from mine to ship to DF for them to install in a new trans. It didn't want to come apart easily by following the service manual procedure. The case was cracked so I just went caveman on it. It's probably doable at home, but It's supposed to be one of the harder manual trans to disassemble and reassemble.

I believe swapping the lsd from one trans to the other would be a safer bet than trying to swap the syncros. Make sure you can source the crush sleeve and main nut prior to disassembly as these seem to be difficult to source anything internal for the F35. I opted to install a quafie in a f23 rather than take the chances on spending money on a trans that is already difficult to get parts for but I did not have the access to a quafie for the f35 like you do.

To be clear, I'm just planning to remove the grear sets from my good non-LSD trans (full assemblies) and put into the LSD trans.
