Fenix's Cobalt SS LSJ (Non goblin)

Iv acquired a lsj supercharged cobalt 05 or 06. I'll post most pictures and information soon but right now I'm swapping the transmission. I've come across this split here and wondering where it may lead off to. The start and end seems to be the same wire seen in purple. Where the other two wires go inside the cabin? No idea. Thoughts? I'm almost likely going to trace it to the fuse connector and see what fuse it is using and possibly tracing the split inside too. The points are soldered and I'm thinking of undoing it and properly soldering and heat shrinking it after I figure out why it's there.

Here are some more pictures of the car, 175k miles and not a lick of rust on it. The f35 LSD trans refuses to reverse due to something internal, so iv sourced a donor trans of the exact same from a scrap yard, fingers crossed that it works.

Old picture, iv replaced the door panels with ones from my donor i still had, looks much better but i dont have that picture on hand right now

Wideshot, paint has chips, scratches, clear coat going away, doesnt bother me much.

engine bay shot, the car spits out some codes once in a while but its been code free for a few weeks now, something about the supercharger solenoid i cant remember and then some issues with gas not being sent to the engine that have come and gone

i plan on making this my daily, maybe one day transplant it into a goblin? i didnt have a favorite car until i worked on the cobalt, it was my first gas car. my first car was electric. so the logical step was to get an lsj (my kitcar is a lap auto)

I ran that purple wire as a remote start for about 6 months, until I could figure out my intermittent high speed LAN data issue.
When the LAN data wasn't flowing, I could use the purple wire & a 12V aux. power port, to remote start the engine... as long as the key was turned on, the engine would run. No dash data, so the instrument cluster was dead, but I could still drive.

I’d chat with DF but all I can think of is the heat exchanger setup, intake and engine mounts. The first two you could piece together easily for a custom deal or just buy from DF already bundled. The mounts would be do-able but harder.

Was thinking about replacing the clutch slave cylinder as a might as well thing. Using the one in the other transmission or buying new. It may be perfectly good though. Might as well inspect the clutch too and replace if needed. If there is a way to test it out of the car that'd be cool.

how much do you think itd cost? id have to order parts from df
Just thinking out loud:
df shifter and cables
clutch hydraulic line
exhaust
trans mounts
hubs
not sure if brakes are needed

you'll have to rework the harness, bcm, ignition and such

df will probably sell it all to you for tree fiddy. :D

Its finally out.

Since its out I might as well order a new clutch kit (Flywheel, flywheel bolts, clutch, clutch plate, slave cylinder). I was told by the previous owner that this clutch may be factory. I've yet to look at it since I am done for the day and the next two days is going to be raining. Next time I will make note to position the transmission jack at a better spot and possibly makeshift something out of wood to make it easier to slide in the donor trans. If I find out that the donor is bad I am going to cry and or explode.

Progress in between rain, here is the old vs new clutch parts. Since this is my first time replacing a clutch I don't know if the old looks good for 175k miles assuming this is the factory clutch. It's neat to see SAAB on this.
