V1 Tail light wiring

Alright guys, I need a few pointers on which wires go where. Driver side harness has brown, yellow, light green, and black(ground). Passenger side has brown, light green, darker green, and another black ground. I’m curious on what wires go with eachother. I know that the white wires off the taillights go to the black ground. But, what do I do with the super long light blue wire and brownish (dark purple I believe what Lonny calls it in the videos) wire. I did as much snooping around threads as I could and all I got out of it was the light blue wire is supposedly split to run to both lights. I appreciate any help!!

Light blue belongs to the 3rd brake light. Use it or cut it out, up to you (but it will affect your ability to use cruise control, if i remember correctly). I do not recall what the brown/purple wire goes to. Have you tried testing it with a light to see what it could be?

For cruise control the blue wire needs to be tied to ground through a resistor (still haven't done this myself...). I don't have a 3rd brake light either.

Blue is the CHMSL, brown is running lights IIRC
