Good day Goblin members,
I’ve searched through the classifieds here and elsewhere and figured I’d just make a post. Feel free to message me or post in thread with potential builds.
Looking for a well sorted, completed Goblin.
Preference but not absolutely required:
Extended
Track
Manual
Turbo: LNF or LSJ turbo swapped. (but SC ok as well)
Current registration/ plates for road use.
Some aero would be nice but again not necessary (front wing, rear wing, etc)
I don’t care where you are located. If car is right I’ll have it shipped/ pick up with trailer/ etc. I am located in Iowa.
I am a bona fide buyer and have cash in hand. Would be willing to put down $1k deposit in sellers choice of funding (venmo, cash app, zelle, wire, etc). Price would vary on build but would for sure be fair price to seller. Since discovering Goblins a few months back I have come to see that builds sell between $18k-$29k with most coming in around $20k-$25k.
I am even flexible on final pickup if seller would like to enjoy his/her car for a few months (remainder of summer/part of fall). Ideally I would like to pick up before Goblinfest in October as I plan on attending.
Plans are to purchase and modify similar to Justin Reeds but at like 7/10ths his performance. Desire is for a track day/ autocross/ HDPE car that can also have some spirited driving on the roads.
I would prefer to have the Goblin already registered/plates with a clean title in current owners name so that registration back in Iowa goes as smoothly as possible.
Any questions/suggestions/help by forum members or sellers - please feel free to chime away. I have done my best at educating myself and read countless posts but to say I am green would be an understatement - I’m really quite like the goblin from Spider-Man. THAT green!
Looking forward to becoming a part of the Goblin community. And lastly - hats off to some of the heavy hitters on this forum that have posted and posted and posted. Helping fellow members, and helping innovate and push the community along. You all have helped me tremendously already and I don’t even own one.
Cheers
Rich
