You guys think this is ZZP's coil supplier?

They look identical. They're either the same, or they use the same Chinese upstream manufacturer.

Companies that copy products are pretty good at making them pass the picture test... but this product is aimed at small volume of sales, so I would guess that there isn't enough market to make it worth copying, and it is the same manufacturer, willing to put any company's name on it, as you are mostly buying bling.

My ZZP coils have sun faded from red to dark pink, so if a coil does go out, a new one wouldn't match and ZZP only sells them in 4 packs anyway. Same with NP Boosted. With stock coils you could get away with a new one.

Totally agree, not worth the hassle unless you were to buy two sets right off the bat or something. Even then the only benefit is (in theory if they are actually more "powerful") is bigger spark plug gap?

E85 is hard to ignite in cold weather, so running a hotter, bigger spark helps with cold starts. Methanol and nitromethane are also harder to ignite. But for most of us, it is bling.

If you look at reviews and testing on these coils on forums posts over the years I’ve actually read they are worse than the stock coils.
This agrees with a consensus shared by many on an LS engine forum I belong to. GM (or their suppliers..) do a bangup job making good coils! Even guys building max effort jobs do well to use OEM coils. They flat work!
