What else can I work on while waiting for the floor panels to get powder coated? All the stuff I’m getting done in black won’t be done until friday-ish. Lol

You can honestly install everything if you’re just waiting on the floor pan. You can do that install using supports to hold the floor up and laying on your back for the rivets. Not ideal ( and why they do this at the very beginning in the videos) but doable. You can do your radiator hoses now if you wanted

Rear brake and clutch lines are in, steering torqued down, pedal box is in. Tomorrow will be clutch pedal, and more steering components. I can’t put in the steering shaft yet though because I’m waiting on the firewall from powder coat.

Clutch pedal is in, power steering is in, brake booster and master cylinder are in. I got side tracked and had to get the mower ready for the year and do a test cut. Will be hitting it hard again tomorrow. Will be leaving for Fiji in a week so if someone wants to swing by the house and finish it up while I'm gone......

I'll swing by with my drill and give it the Racer X treatment while you're lounging in Fiji. :p:cool:

I wish my wife could fly longer than four hours... I would love to visit Fiji... I'll be in Cozumel next week vacationing... A nice two hour flight from Miami.

thats gunna be the worst part of it, 27 hours of travel each way from Michigan. I’m heading to pick up the rest of my parts from powder right now. I won’t have time with my work schedule to get much more work done before I leave. When I get back though it’s game on. I’m hoping to be legal by the end of May

Wiring is in the car, radiator is plumbed in, fuel tank is in and plumbed in, mirrors are in, tail lights are on.

Does anyone know what the thread and pitch the headlights are supposed to be? I want to run a tap through to clean the threads

You're a brave man installing the mirrors already. I probably would have ripped mine off a dozen times by now, which is why mine are still not installed. lol
