Do these wires get removed? It’s the brown wires from the market lights

Never mind I just didn’t get that far in the video yet. The wiring is a little intimidating due to the differences in the connectors and lack of wires/connectors.

Maybe I haven’t gotten far enough to see this but I’m hoping I didn’t screw up along the way. Looks like this wire goes to the grey connector. Just not sure what position it goes to. All I’m seeing in the Chiltons diagrams are Batt—->BCM. Nothing by the fuse lock.

Got a break in the weather and decided there was no better to get the rest of the parts off the donor car. Tank dropped, filler neck out, shift and parking cables removed. Then started loading up all the junk that can go with the car.

Post some pics of the stripped cobalt, in case we see anything you missed.

I will say cut the flexible part of the fuel line off the car in the engine bay. I used mine to make a cleaner look than the parts Df supplied. And if you like it better then Df way, you can throw out the other piece

Good looking out on the fuel line, I pulled the option B tank and brake master cylinder after these pics. Don’t mind the mess, moving stuff back into the car.

I started digging in the motor to replace the laminova seals, glad I did since they were leaking. Also noticed the silencer ports on the Supercharger have been gooped shut.

Have some fun and blow up the side air bags.

the second coolant tank will be useful.

the engine mount on the pass side is aftermarket. Clean it up snd it should sell quick.

the little “GM performance“ label on the core support can be moved somewhere on the engine if you so desire.

Thanks!

I'm halfway through Part 9 of the dash harness video, whew this wiring has me nervous. The previous owner had a Aeroforce Scan Gauge, stock boost gauge, and a AEM wideband hooked up into the wiring which is a bit of a mess. Tonight's job will be to trace those wires, clean up the wiring and finish the video.

Finished video 9 of the wiring, decided to take a break from wiring. Got into the motor a bit and did the timing bolt, zzp intercooler pump, shorty manifold, and tore down the supercharger. Replaced the coupler, checked out everything while inside, and did a oil change

So working on the harness and the video shows them connecting the twisted wires between the BCM and ignition. I just want to make sure im not over thinking this. the 2 pairs of twisted wires i have are from the fuse box that i extended towards the BCM and one set coming from the bcm that are draped over the side of the table. I connect these in the "main harness" area?

Maybe this answers your question
