The only credit I can take is buying a nice car when I see one and getting her Spic & Clean before the show.
The credit goes to Jon and Edward and The Mae House for restoring her.

Had a very good day at the Hearts & Homes for Veterans Car Show in Cape Coral, FL
Did not get called for a trophy in my class but stuck around for all the other classes, and to my shock and surprise my 63 Chevy II SS, Convertible took “Overall Best Of Show”
I was able to get it out by drilling a small hole down the center and then used a spiral screw extractor.
Followed up by Combination Drill and Taps Bit.
This is the kit I was using

ABN Metric and SAE Standard Tap and Die
I hate at my age making rookie mistakes, should have used oil and turns in out, in and out, and in and out. Instead of just in slowly and firmly, until it snapped.
Was trying to use I guess a tap to clean out the threads of the headlight mounting thread and this snapped off. Size 3/8 X 16
So I guess I now need to drill it out and re-thread it. Can anyone direct me to best product on Amazon to accomplish it?
Did it snap because I did not use a lubricant?
