Your killing me man.. LOL I havent given up just yet, I have been working on the wiring for the shop so I can get the electrical inspection done. Once that is done I will get back at the swap. If it doesn't work out it no problem, I have a back up plan for the drivetrain an aero nose F150.

I broke out the sawzall, and cut the cradle out so i could mount the bigger axle. It looks like this axle has more room on the engine side... I'll find out tomorrow...

I could definitely make it fit body lift so the engines not out of the hood ditch the front axle and just go 2wd. Hang the alternator facing the other way so its not hitting..

I finely got the engine in and on the mounts so I could get a good look at everything, and it's not going to work. The alternator is hitting the frame, the front axle is a 1/4 inch from hitting the oil pan, and wont hold the HP so a bigger one would need to be fitted. Plus the engine placement...

I removed the shock towers, so i could see the motor mounts. Then set the motor in close to where it will end up for a few pictures. It fits:

I got a knock off copy of the Boss 302 intake. It smells like harbor freight... I'm not super happy with the fit of the intake, but I'll give it a try.

Rally insurance here too, less the 500 a year. I thought it was last year too, guess not. I use to live in Guntersville left in 98-99, and would go to Huntsville a good bit to eat or go to R&R speed shop.

Small update. Make darn sure you are in first gear before dropping the clutch. I dropped the clutch in 3rd at about 4 grand.....

I got them for a mustang project that I never finished, it's a square set of 10.5" wide. The 10.5's are fine for the rear but I feel it's to wide for the front. The car hunts all over the road....

Finely back on the clutch/ flywheel change.
