Another random thought, if you're at 40% DC at WOT, and your trims/afr look great, you really have plenty of room to up the boost. I was reading somewhere that the ZZP people hung out, that you didn't really need 60# until you were passing 18lb of boost. That 40% DC just really sticks in my head...

Good response honestly. The TLDR is you can't go wrong with a BRFS, very easy to install, and it's not going to hurt the build by installing it, just make sure you log fuel pressure / afr / boost, and all the other tidbits to make sure the system is efficient & safe. Here's a little more...

Not to sound unhelpful, but did you match your injectors to your flow/power needs? Sometimes people get injectors which are too large, and run into a situation where duty cycle is low, and idle sucks. Some people won't have an issue at lower rpm's based on how much airflow is going into the...

Tony's thread is what inspired this one actually, thanks for the input from both of you. As people try out other seat options (if that ever happens), hopefully they will post up here as well. I will likely end up going with a custom setup myself, so when I come to that point, I'll note it.

I wouldn't be concerned with it at the moment. If the ECM can't read airflow properly, it'll use alternate lookup tables to keep the motor going. I usually simply went Speed Density and ditched the MAF altogether when I was building larger motors, because the MAF couldn't read the airflow beyond...

Do we know which seat brands/models fit? I realize many could due to the fact you do it yourself, but I'm still trying to decide between some seat options. Knowing what will and will not work, and keeping it in a single thread, could be beneficial for future builders.

Nuker brings up something else, was there a custom tune? It's possible they tuned out the MAF but left the code in (which would be odd, but I've seen it before).

As Dan pointed out above, it varies by state. The Goblin's home page even says it's based on the Lotus 7. In many states which allow replicas, this would qualify it immediately into that category. States vary.
