Did it hang above or below your CB radio?Jeremy, I'm just funning you! The hot ticket for car audio when I started driving was a Pioneer Supertuner and a box if eight tracks, with a pair of Pioneer 6x9s mounted in the rear deck. After about 3 years the Pioneer Supertuner II came out and I had to replace all of my eight tracks with cassettes. Those were the good old days!
This is all great until you're in the boonies with no serviceAugh man c'mon, you're hurting my soul. The discs aren't bad but tapes ...... tapes wounded me so deeply as a teenager. I am still recovering.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats the Android Auto/Apple Carplay meta today, assuming you just listen to music and not sports/talk radio. So convenient, so capable ... and a great application of the communication/social media machine we're all carrying in our pocket already anyway.
To be honest, I love the nostalgia of the tape and cd players. It just hits different. I gotta get it working though. It turns on but no sound. Gotta check the amp.Augh man c'mon, you're hurting my soul. The discs aren't bad but tapes ...... tapes wounded me so deeply as a teenager. I am still recovering.

I load all my music on my phone so no worries about service. This is all great until you're in the boonies with no service
Nostalgia's good. The jankiness of CD changers and the failure rate on cassette tapes have forever turned me away from those, though. To be honest, I love the nostalgia of the tape and cd players. It just hits different. I gotta get it working though. It turns on but no sound. Gotta check the amp.
How can listen to 8-tracks if you replace the head unit?Good God man, step #1 has got to be, get a real head unit in that thang.....!
A ProCharger F-series can fix those numbers for you, but then you'd need a new sticker.
I’m think’n ls swap or see if callaway still has a tt kit still availableA ProCharger F-series can fix those numbers for you, but then you'd need a new sticker.
Time it to leave him the vette and I take his goblin to goblinfest.I think Russell needs to roadtrip up to PA and let Jeremy put an audio system into the new toy. Would go a long ways to solidifying Jeremy's honorary membership into the Houston gang!
Wonder if I can add a 8 track hhhhmmmmm. Dad might still have one hanging around the garage. How can listen to 8-tracks if you replace the head unit?
(For humor only, I see that it's a tape deck.....
