Easy access city frame doors??

I bought my car already completed and honestly i really wanted the full cage, not the easy access. The look to me on the full cage look great compared to the easy access. HOWEVER!! After owning it i can see how much nicer it is to get in and out of the car. So i was thinking... why not have a door of sorts to fill the gap. I was thinking it could be a suicide door such as a Can Am X3. I think it could be done pretty easy with tubing and a welder. Might give it a try.

Go for it! Always great to have someone thinking outside the box to try something new! If you get stuck, post the problem and I'm certain that someone on the forum will come up with an idea for solution. Post your progress.

Yep. A Artic cat wildcat door was something I contemplated on doing at one time.
i had thought about an Artic cat door too. If i make one it would be the same size tubing as the cage on top and try to match the shape of the door. The question mostly lies in how and which way to swing it. I see some drag backs to going suicide style due to the angle of the triangular bar. Thought bout having one pivot point in the rear and doing a reverse swing up but i see issues with that too. I need it to be warm so i can play around in the shop with some ideas.
