I hate to be weird but you are freaking legendary. Going through the bus stop with those barricades. Unreal. The fact that you built it all and drive it to that level and that well. So cool. Someday I will have to come watch one of these hillclimbs.
Thank you man, the upgrades never stop! The hillclimbs are a fantastic experience. You should definitely come check them out

Any reason you decided to go with water cooled over the air cooled setup? From initial view it looks like you needed to free up space in the rear and I imagine the airflow would have been better installing intercooler above but would block visibility.

I am digging the water cooled location.

Went to water cooled because I’ve just surpassed the air to air capacity. Even mounting the intercooler over the engine would have very little airflow since the air tumbles in that area from the windscreen. Would have still been better than the bottom rear mount but still wouldn’t cut it. Plus it would be high mounted weight and affect airflow to the rear wing. With hillclimbs, it also just made so much sense to run an air to water with an ice box mounted up front.

New fuel system plumbed up. Got rid of the bulky surge tank, inline pump and double stainless fuel filters. Went to a more a simplistic and effective setup with holly hydramat, walbro450 pump, ID750 fuel filter, and new ID1050 injectors replacing my 9 year old ID1000s. Still using the same fuel lab regulator I’ve had for 7 years for BRFPS.

I highly suggest using corrugated PTFE in the fuel tank for the fuel pump to the hat to guarantee no rubber swelling issues as I have had in the past, especially if running e85. I even used Gates submersible 30R10 and still had issues with it failing (typically tears at the worm clamp).

How big of a water tank are you running for the W2A setup?

For example:

This is the gates submersible high pressure fuel line, the only time I've had an issue with a intank hose was when it wasn't the correct spec. I go over everything every year anyways.
Ice Box is 2.6 gallons, big enough to fit a 20lb bag of ice

Latest dyno session uncovered more mid range gains with the Dyemond Fab intake manifold, water to air intercooler, and ethanol one S fuel. 555whp/549wtq with a book shelf power curve.
First graph is from last year with Saab 9-3 intake manifold and air to air vs dyemond fab intake manifold with water to air. Both 31-32psi

second photo is from 25psi wastegate to 32 psi full boost

The new setup comes into boost faster and makes more power down low.

Holy smokes!!! Having a table flat torque AND horsepower curve is almost unheard of, unless you're tuning for the supercar crowd. That's truly amazing! So how many other track records are going to fall this year??? Can't wait to see how this turns out. Maybe shoot for new 0-60-0 or 0-100-0 records too - if you have the traction. :D:cool:

It amazing what these cars are capable of when purpose built! We were very happy with the results

Justin, I just saw the video on you tube of the race (hill climb) at Weatherly. I hope you are okay, no injuries? Guessing there was some damage to the Goblin? Hard to tell from the short video and photo from the tow truck. Hopefully it can be repaired easily enough? Post some photos if you think it prudent and have the time. We are always concerned when accidents become known.
