Learning Suspension tuning

Update, I rewatched the front suspensions and saw the coilover was just tightened until there was no slack in it. Still wondering how to measure the spring tension/rate.

What springs are you using? The spring rate should be printed right on the spring.

It's included in the model number. That's a 450lb/in spring.

If you actually need to measure it, you're going to need some real equipment. You'll have to compress the spring and measure both the weight on it and the distance it compressed. You'll probably have to do it multiple times to make sure it's a linear relationship, and to eliminate hysteresis. It's not something you're going to do accurately in your garage.
