Yes, that's what the most popular Montana agent charges.
Gotcha.. I was thinking if this is a 1 time payment its okay..

But I was seeing that there is a "registration renewal" and also a yearly "LLC renewal" so it'll cost me over $200 annually, does that sound right also?

The $849 charge is one-time. Subsequent years are $49.

You must still renew your Montana registration every year. That ends up being ~$250 or so.

Where I have some distaste for the 49 Dollar guys ... the site leads you into paying for more of their services than you need. Don't be fooled by that. The only fee you MUST pay them is the annual $49. They will offer their services for renewing your registration also, for $150, but that's on top of the Montana charge and really, renewing your registration is easy enough that I feel the $150 is completely unnecessary to spend.

They also offer no guidance whatsoever, but were willing to answer specific questions when asked. Now that I've been registered for a couple years, I know how to do it ... but at the beginning, the process was sort of confusing and they were no help.
