Found a of photo from spectator drags at the freedom factory....
Spent this weekend back in Daytona for two more days of scca autocross. Had a great battle for the class win Saturday with a k-swapped Exocet that I had beat until the very last run. Sunday they put a ringer in the car and blew me away by almost two seconds. It was fun none the less. Unfortunately neither of the other goblins that have been doing the series showed up to the event this weekend. I don't blame them, it was just ridiculously hot. So by default now I have the points lead with two events to go.
Funny thing happened this weekend...
They assigned me as a novice class instructor for my work assignment. I about fell over when they told me that, guess I look like I know what I'm doing now even though I admittedly think I don't. But it was an enjoyable experience helping others get started in their first event.

In other news I was just approved for an intermediate scca time trials license. Myself, Justin Reed and maybe one other are doing the scca national time trials at road Atlanta in November!

Final two rounds of our autocross season is this weekend and it looks like a big field of cars for us. At least 5 (three goblins!) in e-mod each day and total entries might be pretty close to the 125 cap. Finally get to test out the new shoes too! 23x10.5 slicks I scored off of FB marketplace from a grassroots challenge competitor.

Yea I did what we talked about and brought Miata spacers and tossed them on the lathe to make them fit.
