Since the Goblin sold, I was hoping to start on the 57 soon.

But a deal came along for some parts I wanted and now I have to do some disassembly and then make room again.

The price was what I would view as a significant deal. May not use them on my 57, but I do think they will get used.

I've thought about it. Nerd Rods makes a chassis that has positive reviews from the Tri-Five guys. Not sure I want to use it there though.

I'm pretty good managing project scope creep...it's quantity of projects creep that slows me down.

Finally got started with the project part. Old dash wiring is out. I'm glad I opted to rewire the car as I found several twist with tape splices, wires not connected to anything at either end, and even a few bare spots.

So the plan for May is:

1. finish removing firewall insulation and heater ducting
2. POR 15 for floors and firewall.
3. install Hushmat on firewall and front floorboards.
4. install RainGear wiper system.
5. install new (to me) RetroSound stereo.

The engine is still at the shop, but I have enough to keep busy till probably end of June.

I think so. Wiring and firewall insulation was original too...and messy.
