Rear trans mount...needed?

Donor is going to the recycling center today and I'll shift focus to cleanup/maintenance on the engine. Do we retain the large trans mount for the build?

I believe all kits now come with solid trans mounts, so no, the stock trans mount isn't needed. Do verify you have the DF solid trans mount before you toss yours if you're looking to get on the road quickly.

You are correct, they do! Here's a link to what all come with our kits, depending on donor: https://dfkitcar.com/kit.php

Thanks for helping out a fellow Goblin Family member!

It's not relevant in your case, but if anyone is building a car using the 4T45E automatic transmission, then the part of the two piece rear transmission mount that bolts directly to the transmission will need to be retained. The solid mount in that specific application only replaces the piece with the factory bushing that connects the subframe to the piece that is bolted to the transmission case.
