TO HOT?

For me it’s a few things. Harness won’t be back for a month still. Engine needs parts I don’t currently have the budget for. Next thing I need is some alumibrite to clean up the engine and I can’t budget the $38 for a bottle.
On top of that I got a bunch of things going on for the summer. With in the next four weeks I’m gonna travel to Ohio twice and then a convention in VA. So that’s time and money.
I am hoping to work on it this weekend cause there are still things I can work on.
I stayed busy with small cosmetic things and tidying up wires just to stay interested in it while waiting for parts to come.

where are you headed to in Ohio?

Finished my build a few years ago and don't really have much time to drive/work on it. Need to spend some time getting the new subframe on and replacing the steering rack.

114 degrees outside, 94 degrees inside my insulated garage at the hottest point in the day today. Not much going on during desert hibernation season. o_O

But I brave the heat and soldier on for at least a few hours in the early mornings when it's 90 degrees inside and outside. Really wish I could convince my accountant to pony up for an AC unit for the garage!

A mini split AC and comparable swamp cooler are about the same price. Difference is the AC takes moisture out of air but the swamp cooler increases it significantly. I don't want things rusting prematurely, so the AC unit is my choice. Maybe I will just buy one ask for forgiveness later.:D

Working outside in Arizona has got me staying in the house after work this time of year. My car is all apart awaiting re drilled wheel hubs so I can fit my new wheel/tire setup on the car.

Are the cheap mini-splits not a lot more problematic over the long term.
Getting out of my area of knowledge though.

Depends upon the manufacturer. Believe there are only handful that actually make them and then put a retailer's name on them. But, being a physically smaller package there are limitations to their effectiveness and long term function. I've read a lot of reviews and talked to knowledgeable HVAC techs to get their recommendations - Senville followed by Daikin for best reliability.

In my case the garage AC wouldn't be running all through the summer. I would get my garage cooler - 85ish - only during those times it is needed. It should be adequate for this purpose and have enough longevity to meet my expectations.

I need to replace the clutch and flywheel but between the heat and working on the engine swap project. I have pulled the intake and exhaust off and disconnected most of the harness. I started 2nd shift again at work today so I do have time in the mornings before it gets to hot to work some. I'll put out a new video later this week or this weekend on the clutch flywheel swap...

Somedays it's too warm, others there isn't enough time or motivation. It does seem like the market has saturated some, but not enough that I'm worried about the future.

I'm personally still fighting a data issue. I pulled the car out of the garage yesterday and was working on putting the harness back in it's place. I'm going to add a bunch of extra grounds to rule out a possible power/ground issue. Finally got my tech2win back up and running ‍

I should be getting powder back from the coater next week and can start putting the suspension together, also going to be a week or so until I get my dash rocker panel from the manufacturer. I'd say I'll have everything for now installed and be able to start tuning and doing the alignment by the end of the month.
