V8 Gobbler #511 (Extended Track, LSX powered)

Impressive work with the exhaust headers. Will be interesting to hear what this exhaust will sound like. I've only heard in-person one other 8 into 1 exhaust before and it was epic to say the least.

Is that the transaxle that will be used? It does extend quite far behind the axle centerline and the rear of the frame would require a like extension. Curious to see how it ends up configured along with the subframe (if you end up using one).
Thank you, it took quite a bit of time to fabricate all of it. Was also my first time tig welding! Yes that is the transaxle that will be used. It will definitely stick out beyond the factory df goblin frame. But I will be making a custom subframe to hold it all and some sort of rear bars to wrap around the back of the trans for protection and double as a frame strengthener.

Joe, you've already explained the extensive frame mods needed to accommodate your drivetrain. I would recommend strengthening the rest of the frame from the B-pillar forward, especially in front of the A-pillar. The 'open top box' above the footwell can allow for torsional twist that needs help to be stiffer. Take look at my build log - the last 8ish pages - to see how I reinforced my frame. Ask me any questions, I'll be glad to provide specs, dimensions, etc.

Awesome, I will check that out!
