I think there is a wire that triggers the fog lights and they have a decent relay and fuse. I want to say purple up by the column. It's just a momentary switch that triggers on and then triggers off. It will turn off when the car is shut off, which is a little problematic, but has worked for 5 years.

It also changes when swapping from low to high beam or the opposite?

I did not know that. We only have one bean so I don't think I've ever switched it.

Fixed. It was a broken wire between the power and the gages. I need to still clean the grounds well to see if that helps.
I do know that the BCM plug had battery voltage going across it, so it's not there that the drop is occurring.
