The light blue wire from the red connector is used for your radiator fan. It's not part of the a/c. The rest is not used.
soo....that light blue wire has been cut and soldered up at the black fuse box location correct?? as in video #20 i believe, so it now runs the radiator fan in the front. so i should be able to clip this connection off.

Ark :D
Right. Clip off the red connector. You won't use the white ... but you'll run the light blue to the positive on your radiator fan, and ground the negative to the frame. Some people keep the gray wire from the other connector as a backup (it's the second fan on the Cobalt radiator and kicks on at higher temps) but most people don't bother.
