V1 Body to dash connector question

This is for the TC. It says the OBDII is on D4 but I had cut this wire. I swear I had followed with exactness. D3 and D5 are also the same color. On the SC I noticed it says it’s on D3. Anybody had this issue? If I am wrong, how can I fix this?

Buy an electrical pin removal tool, pull the pin, crimp or solder a new wire on. They also sell new pins, if you track down the manufacturer. I have seen this in this forum, just don't remember where. BradR might know.

I cut wires about 1" above the connector, that way I could solder on to them when I made a mistake, without having to remove the pin connector.

Got it. Looks like D3 and D4 are connected to the same pin. I wonder if it doesn’t matter which one I use since they both come from the same pin?

If they are connected to the same pin, then electrically, there is no difference. Go for it.
