Gonna find out. Messing with one at goblin fest, it was much easier then any of the others I have used, so gonna give it a try. Plus it should free up some space on top of the tower so I can add more do-dads.Is the DF shifter setup really that much of an upgrade from his aluminum setup?
Yeah, and that was just one day of driving yout 'new' Goblin!I only have ~500 miles on my DF shifter, but no complaints and no missed gears so far.
I had the same problem when I was getting the donor up and running. Ended up being the wastegate solenoid (I replaced the bypass solenoid first and that didn't fix it).I replaced the LNF Bypass vacuum switch solenoid and the wastegate control solenoid actuator and it appears to have fixed the problem.
Well, that should cut at least 3 seconds off your autoX runs………..Ok, so over the last 3k miles, I have been randomly getting a p0299 turbo underboost code. In the beginning, it didn't bother me too much. I recently installed the 3bar map sensors and a GM Stage 1 tune and started getting the p0299 more consistently. When this code triggered, the car would stop generating boost. After trying the obvious things of tightening all the intake hoses, I will still getting a p0299, especially under hard accelerating.
I replaced the LNF Bypass vacuum switch solenoid and the wastegate control solenoid actuator and it appears to have fixed the problem.
15 - 20 psi of boost never felt so glorious. This thing is a missel. Its insane.
Polish it up and reflect all the heat back into space!Wow, 9ish months since my last update.
Been working on the Goblin to take care of various items before Goblinfest. Getting the DF shifter installed and the rear suspension upgrade installed along with numerous other items that have been bugging me.
Shaun, the guy that made the front splitter group buy, made a roof for me.

Going to get it powder coated the same as the frame. I believe Shaun will be putting these up for sale soon. Mine is 1/4" thick but production ones will probably be 1/8" thick.

Is the nut on the spring pivot point too tight? I can't really see the system motion clearly.Installed the new billet shifter from DF. Have an issue where it will not actuate the paw to trigger the reverse lockout.
Anyone have any ideas?
Ive been futzing with it and you hit the nail on the head. I had to adjust out the cable where it passes through the tunnel to near maximum to get the bell crank far enough down to actuate the reverse lockout. If you disconnect a transmission cable, will it work? I'm wondering if the transmission is restricting its movement.
Thanks. I am not familiar enough with that unit to even wonder further! That's not the issue, the shifter never comes down low enough to push the flat spring down and let the paw move over.
