I don't know if F1 cars even use a maf. And most of the problems tend to show up at low throttle, at least on mine. Mine is probably the worst a set up can be, but it does work. I just need to readjust the maf when I change from driver only windshield to full windshield. And very low throttle still suffers a little. I think this is because of the larger tube in the K&N intake that used for mine. Large area and low velocity.
