Donor Car title needed for Ohio?

Hey everyone, new to the kit car scene and just ordered my kit last week (chassis #339). Was wondering if anyone in the Ohio area that has completed registration could help me out. Finished stripping my donor car and I'm trying to get the rest of it scrapped, but none of the scrapyards I've contacted will buy the remainder without the title. Anyone know if I need the title to my donor car to register the goblin in Ohio?

You might have to do a "Sawzall Overhaul" to the hulk and cut it into big unrecognizable chunks of scrap metal

scrap was low when I got rid of mine so I just put it on facebook for free without a title and someone took it. If you want the money for the scrap just cut it up. Where in Ohio are you?

Did you did away to haul the car off?

See, this is a big concern for me, too. What the hell to do with the shell, and how difficult it's going to be to move around after stripping it. Never even considered the title issue. ****!!

It’s much easier to move around when you cut it into quarters. They slide much easier or even lift easier with just 2 people. Smaller sections can make it easy for a single person to move as well

I'm not sure you need it but it made my process go smooth. Took the MCO and donor title to both inspection and to get the Goblin title. When I did that they took the donor title. I'll either fine a yard that doesn't need it or just cut it up.

Months later, but I have some updates for anyone else in the Ohio area working on their Goblin.

Contacted the Highway Patrol (since they'll be the ones performing the vehicle inspection) and asked about scrapping/getting rid of the title and the situation I was in. As soon as I said it is was a donor car they knew exactly what I was describing. They told me to make a copy of the title (I scanned it at home) and then to keep the receipt from the scrapyard.

I'll validate once I've finished getting it registered.
