I made some rear wing looking panels by hand, I just used the same material that DF supplied for the side panels. It was .030 6061 aluminum
I have a high tech bender that consists of a couple 2x4s and some clamps. everything attaches with 6mm rivnuts and hex button head screws with rubber washers
oh yeah...adding 1/8" foam gasket to the edges of the panels make them rattle free
I made smoked lexan panels that extend to the hood to seal off radiator heat and go up to the top bar in the front. First picture is the revised front of the panel and the second is the unpeeled film off the first revision.
Just make sure to check your laws with clear panels. Might be able to get away with them after registration but in PA the only reason they make you put side panels on is because they don't like exposed/visible frame. To the point that if you have easy entry doors in PA you only need the lower panels. If you have full doors you have to make uppers. They also have to "look" permanent. You also can't have the panels on the "inside" of the frame.
