Just wanted to update my build on the front wing.
I upgraded to 1/4” - 2x2 aluminum angle. 23” in length will allow for the front hood to be moved forward to remove the hood.
To help with bowing of the angle, I installed a piece of 1/4” all thread under the radiator.
Finally I installed a brace running from the front upper A-arm mount to the wing. I made a bracket of 1/4” aluminum C channel and attached it to the A-arm bolt.
You can now dance on the wing without any movement.
I let a friend drive my Goblin at an auto cross event yesterday. He went off track and used the wing to plow through dirt and gravel. No damage at all. It’s sturdy
