Hello All,

Given life circumstances i won't be able to get to building a goblin before they discontinue the kit. I have what i think is a reasonable donor and 05 NA cobalt ss. I have replaced the transmission on it from one of the crate transmissions from the goblin team and had it running but then needed to put that project on hold for a while and now i have come to terms i should sell the car. the car still stars up and moves but the breaks could use some TLC to get it on the road again.

New parts i put in:
transmission
clutch kit
lower solid control arms with bushings

the car is located in southern New Hampshire

They said they would produce V1 through the end of this year, but then it'd be "we'll see" at that point.
I imagine that as a biz DF Machine Works will not be producing much back stock beyond demand. Having all the jigs and designs I imagine they could do demand based runs based on Pre Sold units with longer wait times. Like if they can get a line up of 5 prepaid, I'd bet they will produce 10 and only promise delivery within a year?(Selling the remainder COD on the open market.) {Or as with their "3 to 4" kits, they may sell the rights and jigs to someone else to continue the kit.?}
IMO, They have too much tech finished to dead end availability. You don't actually need a Cobalt to build a Goblin, but it is the easiest way currently. The entire Goblin suspension and frame are now made w/o "Cobalt Only" parts. (Case in point: The "Meyers Manx" is still produced(or very similar kits) though air cooled VW's have been gone for 45 years!)
DF Machine Works already builds on contract for NASA and such. YOU: Assemble your Consortium of buyers, Assemble your finances in escrow, write your proposal contract, make them an offer and open negotiations!(it doesn't even have to happen in that order, that's just one way business gets done.)
If there is a profit to be made I'd bet they'll happy to make it.

I'm just stating what was officially said by DF. Nothing more, nothing less.
