Update! Getting closer to the first drive. Brakes bled today and will give it a second go tomorrow just to make sure there is no air inside the lines. I wasn't a fan of the 18x8s on the car so I went with a 17x9 Vors tr-4. Anyone need a set of wheels lol.

The rest of the (tentative) schedule is:

Clutch/Brakes will be bled tomorrow and finished.
Setting ride height on suspension Sunday.
Initial alignment and tentative first drive Monday.

I'm lucky enough to have a private drive right next to my house and a landing strip to test so I don't have to worry about traffic for the shake down runs. I am working nights this weekend but will be off Tuesday-Thursday to try and get it complete for the Port Huron Cruise Night on Friday the 24th.

They are the Hyperblack color. So since sleep is over rated I got up early and got the clutch bled out. The elbow popped out of the trans housing which had me nervous. Looks like it popped back in ok. Going to hit the brakes 1 more time.

Ok so working on adjusting the shifter, I’m at a loss. Is there a good place to start? It feels like I only have 3rd and 4th. I have the Billet shifter.

The first 5 seconds of this video shows how the F35 shift arms need to move.
Work one cable at a time, until you get the correct range of movement at the F35, without being limited by the shifter.

I put my trans in neutral and left the shifter where it would be in neutral and adjusted the cables to match shifter position for my starting point. That got me everything but reverse then I had to do some adjustments for the shifter to hit reverse and trigger the reverse lockout

I've hit 5th gear once while driving. In my garage it feels like 5th should go right in, as I can make it go into 5th using both the shifter or manipulating the 2 arms on the trans.

Reverse works fine.

Got the rear coil ride height set, hooked up parking brakes, adjusted the parking brakes and finished some wiring today. Ran short on time between sleeping in and Father’s Day

Well maiden voyage was a success. Made it to the local car meet. I only seem to be getting 4psi of boost though. With #60 lb injectors and a 2.8” pulley i better run to see if I have codes.

The old guys had lots of questions about it!

It probably has a code. sounds like mine with a boost solenoid problem.

old guys usually hate us, until you tell them “you took your car apart, cleaned it and put it back together. I took mine apart, changed it and put it back together “.
