V1 Is anyone tilting their hoods for access?

Here are photos of my hood….lifts all the way up. I cut the windshield so it wouldn’t hit the bars and made a plate that bolts under radiator. Simple bolt comes off hood and holds it real well….pretty simple, but effective design

Just the stock mounts as they come on frame and hood from DF…I used 1/4” short bolt/nylon lock nut on each side for hinge pin

Copying what I put in my build thread

I used 2" aluminum stock I found at HD and just cut / bolted everything together. I used the stock dzus mounts on the radiator support bracket for the bottom plate and just sandwhich the top plate from the hood down onto it.

Coincidently this plate also closes the gap in the very front so the front is pretty much a sealed off underbelly

I'll probably put the grill back on at some point, but this is good for now
