Hitting the hood with 600 and then 1500 grit in prep for vinyl wrap

Got some before cleaning, after sand blasting, and after paint pictures of the calipers. Just used Rust-Oleum caliper paint and they came out as good as cheap-o gm calipers can

Also snagged this car cover that I saw on a thread on here. Fits great and will look even better once there are some wheels on the goblin

Cleaned up the rear knuckles last Friday. Was gonna paint them black but I ended up clear coating them for that natural aluminum look.

Soaked them for an hour in degreaser, washed them off, and then sandblasted them. The sandblast cabinet has come in extremely helpful while building the goblin

Made good progress the past couple days on the front suspension. Gonna start on the rear soon. Anyone have pictures of how the rear suspension with reusing the old front cobalt struts and springs go together?

Mine still has the factory struts. I can take any pictures you need.

One note, you will need a coil spring compressor to mount the top of the strut to the frame.

All the suspension and front brakes are done. Anyone have pictures or a thread that shows how the rear brake calipers mount up? The parking brake instructional pictures don’t show much.

I ended up having to pick up 4 extra M12 bolts and some washers to shim the caliper mount bracket adapter. I don't remember the length off the top of my head.

Shifter is installed and works through all the gears. One of the linkages seems to rub when trying to go into reverse but it’s still able to squeeze into gear. Waiting on rear tires to get here Thursday so I can get this thing rolling

The new quick release wheel by DF is IN! Very premium feel to it and straight forward install as long as you know how the pieces go together. I didn’t bother setting up the center horn button so that’s why it was probably so easy

So are you still going to turbo it? You drove it around at 155hp and said "she's QUICK," but also you want to double (more or less) the horsepower? Sounds just like me
