New Item - Tubular Subframe and Rear Suspension for Manual Goblins

Sparvy
I emailed again to see what the plan is. I have been hearing a couple weeks for at least a couple months lol.
Waiting is always the hardest part. DF checked un with me last week to verify I got the correct transmission subframe mounts welded on. They may be double checking recent shipments regarding that potential mixup (although my order was correct minus missing one of the mounting bolts that I sourced locally).

I started a thread on it. It performs very well.

sc model here too. Just remove the ic pump bracket. It’s only held in with 2 bolts.

For those of you who have/are swapping to an F40, you may need to fabricate a front transmission mount. It would be best to check for clearance and make necessary mods before powder coating.

Thank you for the heads up.

Wait... somethings not right. PM sent.

@RETNAVY, the new rear subframe is not a Goblin store item, so an IM, an email and a phone call to @Adam is required to make contact with DF to get the details about ordering it. It may take a while to respond to the electronic communication, but a phone call is usually the best way. Call in the morning between 10:00 and 12:00 noon - you may not get through the first time. Don't give up hope, keep trying and you will eventually get through. :D

Why wait? Be the first to install it with the automatic transmission. If the F23 fits, the automatic should fit, since they are very close in dimensions and mounts. It's never a bad thing to do things no one else has done yet and then share your experiences. :D

Can't take it with us!

But, yes, it's very high! Is it just appearance or actually functional, stronger?

The real, true answer is, if you don't know, then you don't need it.

But, the more-pleasant-but-still-true answer is, it's functional. It corrects the rear suspension geometry (which only needs corrected because it's actually front suspension geometry from a Cobalt). Stronger, no.

It's an add-on for enthusiasts and track-goers.

Because they haven't made one yet... Adam said his mothers' in an auto and they're going to do it first. I think he said a mount has to be welded to the tubular auto frame or something. I'm not in a hurry, I've spent a small fortune on this thing over the last 2 weeks already...
Miss Brenda’s drives pretty good, they let us drive hers last goblinfest which is why we ordered a Goblin and also got ride and drive with Ross and I can’t remember who’s it was my wife rode with but it was orange. You could always be the first to fab one to fit an auto :)

It’s highly functional, even for street guys. If it’s needed, is questionable, but does it eliminate all rear toe wiggle? Absolutely. The cat’s meow is a true UCA system in the rear eliminating the strut. I know 1 had done it, but real no reports on findings. If I ever get r&d time back, I’ll do this, but until then, I’ll keep what I got, which works well.

Ark, do you know what they are correcting as far as geometry goes? I'm pretty out of the loop these days.
