I am lost an need some help. Finishing the 2nd to last video in the harness series and went to extend the ODB2 power but must have cut the wrong wire in video 4. I am thinking the ODB2 power is coming from the dark gray multiplug but not sure. I am looking to find out if it is and what the pin location is so I can double check and add back in if I made a mistake. Appreciate the help!

Appreciate the instructions for the signature and will update it tonight. Not sure if it posted correctly, but did state it is an 09 turbo at 749a this morning.

All good, we all have to work to pay for the toys! Thanks for confirming that it did post as I am knew to forum's in general as well as the Goblin. Having an issue with the signature and getting the build thread to work...Would love to see all in one place which is a great idea.

Folks go back and forth between whether it's more effective to ask questions in an individual thread vs having a build thread where relevant information on your build is in one place, but then you have to search a long thread to find it.

For me, honestly, my build thread is more useful to me to look back on than anything else. But I'm one of the weirdos that reads almost everything on the forum and wouldn't overlook a question asked just because it's in a build thread and not with the question in the thread title.

I see about everything that comes through also and will see it in a build thread, but if the donor isn't in the title of the build thread, I won't spend much time looking for it.

Since I never did a build thread I had no choice but to ask in individual threads. The individual threads will probably make it easier to research a problem though.

Thanks, really appreciate the support! Dumb question. How do I know which pin it came from or does it not necessarily matter and I need to re-attached to a pin that has power? Also how do I confirm which plug it was originally in?

Power is red/white on DLC/OBD2 plug and ties to X5-B5 at the fuse box with a sub harness X201-D4 (sub harness I'm pretty sure was thinned out). If you don't have the red/white wire left in the DLC I can get you the end view of that connector this evening.

The power can come from any fused source. It typically isn't on a switched circuit (it's full time hot).
