V1 Selling unused donor parts

Trying to sell the unused Cobalt parts from a sedan is difficult. There are so many wrecked Cobalt sedans the price the part can bring is nearly nothing. Another Goblin owner that bought an SS has sold around $800 of parts. That is a significant offset to the cost of an SS. I have had the entire front end, hood, grill, fenders, bumper, the items I thought would sell, on Craigs list locally and have had just 3 calls and none of them came through.

Is the Chevy Cobalt engine transmission the only recommended donor?
Is front wheel drive engine/trans combo the easiest or can a larger V8 or V6
engine be used?

I did have a buyer come through. They bought the hood, a front fender, headlights, radiator and bumper cover and backing member. $250. It looks like airbags sell on ebay. I will put mine on there .
