I dont have a build log for #299 (Sorry I'm a slacker) but I figured I'd share some info and hopefully it helps others. I have a badly wrecked 08 ss donor I never heard run. On top of that, the donor came w/no ign keys, pcm or bcm. So I was stressed about finding some one to flash the modules with the correct s/w and getting a key to work with all that. I got a BCM from ebay ($40) a pcm from LKQ out of an 08 solstice with a LNF ($113) and had the hardware store cut me a transponder key ($44) for the ignition off of the trunk key I had. Hardware store guy didn't want to sell me a key since I didn't have the original and he said there was no way it would work w/o programming the chip in the key. I finally talked him into it and I did the master key relearn (
) and gave it a shot just to see what would happen. It runs! Not sure how different the tune for the solstice is but just happy to have a car that starts and didn't have to try and go through the dealer for any programming.....yet. fingers crossed. It runs rough in the video but no MAP or MAF installed along with none of the intake tubes so still pretty happy. So just an FYI if anyone finds themselves a similar boat.
