Worked on the intercooler tonight. Got it mounted and got most of the turbo to intercooler piping done. It is a very tight fit. I still have one clamp that I cannot get the nut started on(the smaller end of the Intercooler coupler).

I also worked on the fuel line connection. I'm told that the original fuel line is too be reused. Not sure how everyone else is doing that. Mine was not in a shape to reconnect it without twisting it up to get the connectors to go the right way. I decided to use a heat gun to reform the line to get it to work better. I got it on, but not really happy with how it is routed. It looks out of place.

I went with suggestions from others and bought some GM quick connect to AN fittings and made my own fuel line. I think they were 8-10 dollars a pop. I felt the same way you did about the routing and i was worried about stressing that hard plastic line causing cracks over time.

ICT BILLET is in my home town! I'll swing by and see what they can do for me. Once I get these connectors, where can I get a braided fuel line to hook them up. Is there an online place you can order them to the length you need?

I just used AN6 nylon braided hose from stuff I had laying around and cut to fit. I’ve seen some stainless hose on summit racing for cheap. It’s super easy and strangely satisfying to make your own lines with AN fittings...

I think I received the wrong exhaust. Either that, or I'm missing some sort of adapter.

Got a big box of stuff from DF. Major things I got were my wire harness, radiator, and hubs. I started installing my wiring harness. I got the front wiring pretty much wrapped up, with the exception of wiring my dash buttons. Then I installed my front and rear hubs. Ready to install rotors and calipers. I got my heat exchanger plumbed and installed, along with the shroud for the NACA ducts. Assembled the fan to the radiator and got the radiator installed. I had to mount the horn in a different orientation to allow the radiator hose to route correctly. I think it's because of the heat exchanger shroud taking up so much room. Things are really tight in that area!

I also did some painting on my seats to make the bare metal of the seat frames look a little better. My tires arrived Friday, and my rims should be here in 1-2 days.

I noticed that my brake booster has a spot for a wire connector on the vacuum port. Is this needed? My wiring harness does not have a connector for this.

I received my rims yesterday! Went to install them and found out the lug pattern didn't fit. I knew I had ordered the right ones, so I thought they sent me the wrong ones. Turns out, I purchased redrilled hubs from DF to change them to 5X114.3. They redrilled the new hubs, but did not move the studs to the new holes. So I spent the night removing the rear hubs to change them over. The fronts were easy to do on the car, but the backs had to be removed to physical remove the studs.

Once I got everything reassembled, I temporarily mounted my rims to see what they look like.

I like those wheels a lot. The color/everything with the frame looks great. DF just redrills them, they dont move them.
