Small update. Switched the shocks around to 400 front 300 rear as stated by https://www.dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/400-springs-on-the-front-300-springs-on-the-back.2400/ and ordered correct keys for the qa1 shocks. My stage 3 stuff and hubs is all crated up and will ship out soon. I'll be asking about alignment stuff soon probably. I'm using the front splitter so I'm not sure if I should go with a slightly higher ride height then "bottom control arms level with the world". Lot of scraping. For the roof I'm thinking of making a foam mold and then using that to make a roof out of fiberglass. Should be at least 10% fun. Lots of mosquitoes out right now though, ugh.

I found this video on another users thread. I followed this same method and so far around the neighborhood the car tracks straight. We will see how good I did when I get out on the road and actually driving.

Small update, rear is aligned I believe. 1/8th toe in, the camber and ride height both done with me in it, 1.5 degrees camber and CV axels level with the world. DF has gotten the crates shipped and I am expecting them to arrive thursday or friday. I got in contact with my RA and emailed them my MCO, was told to keep an eye out for their reps to contact me via email. The vin inspection was completed easily so all that remains is forking over money to my RA and then filling and mailing out the requested docs.

Other news, I took the car out on the open road for a test, was quickly pulled over 3 minutes from my home and given 15 tickets and a must appear in court, fines looking to be about 1500~ usd. Do not recommend. Officer didnt impound it but had it toed back to my residence. Looks like at this rate the car will be legal to drive before I must appear in court. I have a misdemeanor now. Yippie :)

I haven’t been pulled yet. The men in blue spend a lot of time looking it over at car shows and Cars and Coffee though. I can’t tell if they think I did an awesome job on the build or they are looking for a way to give me a ticket.:D

Oh the joys of living in the NE. If that had happened in Alabama, I would have expected to be told to go home, if not just told to not go far. As long as there wasn’t a moving violation.

Guess I will be only driving it on the road next season

Or you could trailer it to the track (or a private parking lot) and do some testing and suspension tweaking to get these all sorted out before getting it on the road? If you don't have a trailer I'm sure you know of someone who could help with the trailer and the suspension setup - it's easier with 2 people. :D

I always pay the $75 fee to get a temporary tag, which I get within seven days of them getting my paperwork. For me, the joy of driving is worth the extra fee.
I went ahead and paid for it. My RA in Montana says I need DF to fill out a odometer statement. Which isn't possible. They might be confused about how I own the vehicle. I sent what documents I could. I don't have the title to the donor anymore since I junked it. Hopefully nothing goes wrong in the registration process but have a feeling that something will knowing my luck. The crate arrived today and had everything I needed except for the wheel bearing hubs and the aluminum side curtains. Mirrors are installed and blinking properly. Tail lights are installed and passenger side light is hooked up properly and braided to look professional and hidden. Very tired. Calling it for today. Will finish driver side tail light and front lights and button panel tomorrow hopefully. At some point I need to dig up information on how to get cruise control to work, but that will have to wait until the car is legal to drive. I wonder what middle stoplight I could go for or what would look good. Might just not use one. Here is some pictures

I purchased this stoplight from Amazon;
It fits well on the top hoop. It’s 15” long and the gap between the uprights is about 17”.
I’ve seen people put them on the horizontal bar between the rear suspension too, I wanted mine a bit higher for a better chance of being seen.

Here’s a post about wiring cruise control and the resistors needed;

I have one of the resistors needed for the cruise. PM me your address and I can mail you one. I bought a 10 pack thinking I needed it and didn’t use any of them.

Did you get it to work another way? Or never went through with getting it active?

wiring up the headlights and i have a random extra wire for the passenger side, not sure why, headlights work. ignore the shotty wiring, just testing everything first. iv read that its possible its for parking lights / daytime running lights http://dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/dominator-headlight-wiring-issue.4399/post-87361 the mirrors have parking lights / daytime running lights but im not sure how to wire that up

I only have 4 wires for my headlights;
48819

Black - Ground
Yellow - Low Beam
White - High Beam
Brown - Parking Lights (I think)

I tied the parking lights in with the low beam as I don’t have DRLs in the headlights I purchased. You could probably tie the parking lights into the DRL as well, it looks like you have an extra wire (pink) which is key on power?

Here is what I have, disregard the "Mine" column. I had to make that because I used extra blue wire as I ran out of left over white wire.
