I always pay the $75 fee to get a temporary tag, which I get within seven days of them getting my paperwork. For me, the joy of driving is worth the extra fee.Another small update regarding registration through montana

Guess I will be only driving it on the road next season
I went ahead and paid for it. My RA in Montana says I need DF to fill out a odometer statement. Which isn't possible. They might be confused about how I own the vehicle. I sent what documents I could. I don't have the title to the donor anymore since I junked it. Hopefully nothing goes wrong in the registration process but have a feeling that something will knowing my luck. The crate arrived today and had everything I needed except for the wheel bearing hubs and the aluminum side curtains. Mirrors are installed and blinking properly. Tail lights are installed and passenger side light is hooked up properly and braided to look professional and hidden. Very tired. Calling it for today. Will finish driver side tail light and front lights and button panel tomorrow hopefully. At some point I need to dig up information on how to get cruise control to work, but that will have to wait until the car is legal to drive. I wonder what middle stoplight I could go for or what would look good. Might just not use one. I have one of the resistors needed for the cruise. PM me your address and I can mail you one. I bought a 10 pack thinking I needed it and didn’t use any of them.I purchased this stoplight from Amazon;
It fits well on the top hoop. It’s 15” long and the gap between the uprights is about 17”.
I’ve seen people put them on the horizontal bar between the rear suspension too, I wanted mine a bit higher for a better chance of being seen.

Here’s a post about wiring cruise control and the resistors needed;
Cruise control
anyone had issues with not being able to make the cruise work we have installed Lonny's switch set up but still no cruise does it have to have a third brake light and see a certain resistance to work on that light circuitdfkitcar.com
Did you get it to work another way? Or never went through with getting it active?I have one of the resistors needed for the cruise. PM me your address and I can mail you one. I bought a 10 pack thinking I needed it and didn’t use any of them.
The LSJ didn’t need it. So, didn’t use them.Did you get it to work another way? Or never went through with getting it active?
Hmmm I need to try mine before I look at resistors. I have an 06 LSJ as well.The LSJ didn’t need it. So, didn’t use them.
I only have 4 wires for my headlights;wiring up the headlights and i have a random extra wire for the passenger side, not sure why, headlights work. ignore the shotty wiring, just testing everything first. iv read that its possible its for parking lights / daytime running lights http://dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/dominator-headlight-wiring-issue.4399/post-87361 the mirrors have parking lights / daytime running lights but im not sure how to wire that up
