Also confirm good grounds on this circuit. If they all ground to the same "bad" point, they can back feed through the other bulbs and back through the entire system finding a path to ground.

This overly bright headlight is harder to explain since it should only get as bright as directly to 12v at the battery. But if it has drivers/transformers inside the light I guess that might do weird things if it is seeing low voltage. Or it's

Back with some report.

Confirmed the driver side bulb was blown, replaced and its brightness and usage has gone back to normal.

Reports are done on a 20 dollar multimeter

Your meter is set to Volts DC and 20 volts (or whatever setting is closest to a 20 volt range)?

The symbol for Volts DC is typically the 'V' with a straight line or lines with it.

This is the setting on most all inexpensive meters. These photos are just an example, your meter my look different.

Where are you putting the black lead on the meter for a ground reference? The steady voltage readings make some sense, but the fluctuating voltages on the white wires do not. Can you disconnect the white wires and check these again on the car side wiring and the wire on the headlights. Don't disconnect any of the other wires.

Great news! Glad to hear the electrical has been sorted out and your running again. Montana plates too, working around the local/state issues with selective vehicle registration. :D Did you get the insurance thing worked out?

Went with rally auto like everyone else really happy with them. Sorry for the late reply, life has been rough lately.

I have some news. I managed to snag a 05 LSJ 175k miles for 2k clear title. Its spent most its life in VA and the rust fairy has barely touched it. The clear coat is gone and the reverse doesn't work unless already moving backwards. No CELs. Stereo system was gutted out and the inner door panels torn apart. But good news is that I saved my perfectly fine donor doors and hood. After a bit I will go about doing a tranny rebuild to fix the reverse, until then I just gotta be mindful of where I park. I dont know if this engine will go into a goblin or this car will stay as a daily driver. Currently 99% sure its going to stay as a daily unless I find a pot of gold under my pillow.

I hear the supercharged cars respond really well to turbo application. Some super chargers are getting old and expensive to rebuild or replace. Goblin owner I visited in Arkansas turboEd his. He misses the whine but says the bypass makes up for it some.

Got into an accident. Rear spun around going 50 after mistakenly tapping the breaks too hard and in the panic i didnt manage to keep the wheel straight, 180'd in a second after and made love to a muddy ditch. My passenger and I are OK. I ate a huge sticker bush and my friends right leg bruised huge. The flat plate thats powdercoated with the 3 bolts that connects to the black plate is bent a few degrees up and counter clockwise. That so far is the only damage I see to the frame. Shock is bent, control arm is bent, tie rod in and out bent, knuckle snapped, axel snapped, black plate that connects the shock to the frame is bent, toe link bar from DF is snapped, wheel has huge road rash with tire unseated, front diffuser is bent down a little and the driver side mirror snapped. Engine turns, sounds fine and shows no unusual codes no leaks. Front geometry still looks good but will take the hood off at some point for farther inspection. Currently I am out of a job and way behind on bills, so it is going to have to sit this entire season most likely. The bent part of the frame still looks solid and probably can be fixed in alignment but I'll take a bunch of pictures and see what you all and DF thinks at some point. Most likely would have to be cut off and rewelded. For now just lucky to be alive and it could of been worse.

Glad to hear you both walked away with minimal damage. Like @Traé said, your safety is the most important thing. The Goblin can be fixed - maybe not immediately, but it can happen.

Due your financial situation, I would ask the community to look around to see if there are some parts that you don't plan to use that could be donated to help @Fenix Nexen with his rebuild.

I've got the strut top plates (the plates with the 3 holes) that I will donate. Fenix, IM me your address and I will get them off to you.

I wish I had parts to offer for donation but I finally cleaned out the garage recently, my rule was if I hadn't touched it since I finished the car, it was GONE! I did keep a collection of random nuts and bolts though, so if needed I can look through my collection.

I was sad to hear of your accident. I'm glad you and your passenger came through it relatively unscathed. Best of luck to you in getting the car fixed and driving again.

Here is some pictures of the strut mount on the frame. It's bent up and counter clockwise a few degrees. There is no signs of cracks though. Thoughts? Fixable? Worth fixing? Or must be fixed?

Have you tried straightening it? Maybe with a big adjustable wrench? That is what a body shop would do.

I suppose I could try heating up the area and giving it some elbow grease
I have a subframe I’d donate. The spindles are for LNF as well as the control arms so I don’t think those would help you
It looks like the subframe came out unscathed thankfully but ill keep this in mind thank you!
