GM Low Speed Data Wires - Power Steering Issue with Speedo Loss

Did more playing around with this issue and may have found the culprit. The purple wire to the VSS doesn't have continuity to the C3 plug. I checked randomly along the wire and the plug end may be the culprit. A new one is on the way and hopefully this fixes my troubles.

I did lift the rear end, pin to the VSS ends and spin the wheel to make sure I got a voltage change from the transmission. It passed that check.

New connector arrived and installed. Speedometer is functioning again, along with mileage going up on the odometer. Lesson learned, check the DTC's as they could potentially point you to right direction. It was good that I pulled the harness back in the cabin area as I found more of those awful solder connectors but that could have waited until winter again. After removing the old connector it was obvious where the break was. The purple wire leading into the connector had broken and was only held on by the sheathing around the wire.
