We are hosting the DFKitcar Goblinfest 2024 at our house in Mountain View, Arkansas, starting Thursday, October 3rd ending Sunday, October 6th. All kit car owners of any kind and enthusiasts of kit cars of any kind are welcome.
Thursday, October 3rd - Sunday, October 6th
After you get settled into your AIR B&B, Hotel, RV park, Cabin, or tent, you can make your way to our house and hang out.
There is plenty of room to leave your Goblin, another kit car, an exotic sports car, and/or lawn chairs here each night if you choose. (Note: Again, as a reminder, all sports cars must be left with the keys and a full gas tank just in case we need to move/test them).
If you get here early enough, you can explore Mountain View and maybe go on a short drive.
Each day, you can pick one of the several scenic loops that begin and end in Mountain View. Some of these can use up most of the day.
There will be some folks available to help you navigate the area if you choose.
Branson, Missouri, is just minutes from here. About 127 minutes. But if you leave early, it's a nice drive, and you will have plenty of time to see a few shows and visit shops before returning.
Friday night, October 4th
Dinner at Jo Jo's
All day Friday, October 4th, and Saturday, October 5th, until 6:00 pm
Poker Run
Around 6:30 pm on Saturday, we will feed you and then hand out prizes.
Saturday, October 5th
We will go on a group drive.
Sunday, October 6th
We will have a breakfast drive for those who can hang around or don't have to drive home too far.
Activities
Go-Karts
Our local go-kart track will be open for our meetup goblineers to stop by for time trials.
Make sure to bring back your qualifying result ticket.
The fastest qualifiers will receive prizes; the rest will be used in a prize drawing.
No Goblins allowed on track!
Car show
Saturday, we will have everyone in attendance judge each attending Goblin in several categories.
The winners will receive prizes.
Farthest Drive
The farthest someone hauls their Goblin to the Goblinfest gets a prize.
The farthest someone drives their Goblin to the Goblinfest gets a prize.
Distance example.
Best picture
Upload your best image of the Goblinfest to our forum. Forum members will vote on it. The picture with the most votes will receive a prize.
Goblin Images
Upload images of your Goblin in front of random places.
You will get one coupon for each image posted to Goblin Images to be used in a drawing.

Sigh. I am once again, not going to make it to Goblinfest this year. My grandmother (who will be 91 in November) will be having surgery in late September and will be relying upon me to help her out quite a bit.
Thanks for hosting this every year though @Lonny and @Brenda , I promise I will make it out there one of these years.

North Alabama & Middle Tennessee Meetup
I know a lot of good driving NE of Telico Plains. I used to lead a lot of motorcycle rides in the area. If there is interest I could lead a group ride this summer or fall.
