LSJ Block or Complete LSJ Engine Needed

One of our employees, Carlos bought an SS/SC Cobalt that had a rod out and has a bad cylinder. If anyone has a block or complete engine that they need to get rid of he could use one.

This is not for his daily driver, he is scavenging parts from us that are too dinged up to send to our customers to build his own Goblin.

It needs to be cheap, this 18-year-old with a car payment doesn't have a whole lot of disposable income.

Where is he located? May cost less to pull from a junkyard then travel or ship one. I got one from a Saab 93 they are scattered across the junkyards. Look for engine b207r. The cams, timing gears and engine mounts need to be swapped on the head. The intake bolts are m6 instead of m8 a couple valve cover bolts can be used to center the Intake.

Random thought, there is a guy in Houston selling a complete SS for 1200. High miles, title is missing, it is on facebook. A couple of the Houston crew has been watching it since several of us need parts for one reason or another . Maybe we could make a deal? Might not be worth it.
